This is my love song

I am a huge fan of classic ballads like Deep Purple´s - Soldier of Fortune, Rainbow´s – Rainbow Eyes, Accept – Breaking up again, Scorpions – Holiday and the list goes on and I wanted to show my thanks to my wife and family and to all my friends along the way. You know who you are.

These 35 years as singer in different bands have been both ups and downs but I have through music travelled around the world and in many cases lived my dream. I have been to Japan, Israel, Faroe Islands, South America and every concert and place is unique. It can be fantastic to be on the road but also very lonesome.


The instrument that really can show this bittersweet feeling is cello and one fantastic musician who really can treat this instrument so well is Svante Henryson who played in several symphonic orchestras and with Yngwie Malmsteen on the Eclipse & Fire & Ice albums.

He played fantastic when I was watching him on national TV when Metallica got the Polar Prize so in my musical vision and passion was to get him on the album on this ballad.

I know Andreas know him so he forwarded his and I sent him the song me and Stephen have written and he liked what he heard and add one of the finest music I have ever experienced as songwriter. His cello arrangement really shows what I mean with this love song.
