Melodic Passion

Here is the title track on my solo album and also the name of my company and I have tried to make the impossible thing to include the musical and melodic passion into one song that set my heart on fire, but at I tried and I am very excited the way the song turned out.

The Moog intro by Olov is amazing piece of music that really take me back to the time when I heard the album Rainbow – Rising from 1976 for the first time.

I think it was 1980 and I was 9 years old and I love the Moog synthezisers. From the intro we go into one of best drumming I have ever heard my good friend Andreas have done. You can hear elements from
Deep Purple´s Fireball and Rainbow´s Stargazer mixed into perfection by Andreas.

This is so good and shows that he is one of the best rock drummer in this style of music. My deepest respect and gratitude for your work and I deeply blessed to have you beside in my life for so many years in Narnia, Wisdom Call, Divinefire, my Swedish album and now on Melodic Passion and you are an important part to show this melodic passion as your drumming is like sweet heavenly music for me. The same goes for Per Schelander bass parts that works so good with Andreas drumming. Per you nailed the song totally

From the intro we go into fantastic guitar playing by Stephen in the verses, chorus and solo and it reminds me of Ritchie Blackmore style in Rainbow´s “Death Alley Driver and Stephen´s guitar solo here is my favorite solo on this album so good,
but also Olovs playing is marvelous like Jon Lords Moog parts in Deep Purple´s Stormbringer and my vocal style in the chorus it is a bit of a tribute to The Sweet´s “Set me Free” with high falsetto screams in the chorus.

These songs have been played 1000 times or more and I can´t get tired of them so to get this into one song called Melodic Passion was important for me and the lyrics deal about the musical excitement I feel when I hear and perform music on stage and it all comes together in total perfection and I hope you can hear the melodic passion in this song!
